Help transform students into scholars and leaders
At BELL, our tutors and teachers exist to dramatically increase the academic achievements, self-esteem and life opportunities of children from low-income, urban communities.
Here, it’s about more than flashcards, surprise pop quizzes, and helping out with homework. From reading to math, writing to computer skills, we help inspire academic achievements, heightened self-esteem and a positive outlook on life. And to continue doing so, we could really use your help.
With your support, your passion and your unique background, we can help make change a reality for so many young people and their educational experience. So, discover how you can help change the world one child at a time as a teacher or a tutor with BELL.
Our 5-year Plan: Over 17 years ago, we began our quest to bridge this unfair educational divide, and since then we’ve helped educate 35,000 scholars. In 2007,
we embarked on a 5-year plan to expand BELL programs from serving 7,500 scholars annually to 15,000 through our Summer and After-School Programs.
We currently have Part-Time positions for bright, talented, and passionate individuals
in Providence, RI, New Haven, CT, Bridgeport, CT, Newark, NJ, and Prince George's County, MD, who want to help us reach our goals. Work alongside a diverse group of teachers, lawyers, MBAs, community organizers and more and become part of one of
the “Top 25 Organizations Changing the World” today!
