| Job Description |
We cover most K-12 academic subjects, as well as a wide variety of college and adult education topics. Tutors can list a wide variety of subjects, however most requests for services are for Algebra, Geometry and Algebra 2 students, along with test preparation for the SAT test and the USA High School Proficiency Exam. The remainder of tutoring requests are for Elementary and Middle School subjects, English as a Second Language, or a Foreign Language, usually Spanish. |

| Candidate Requirements |
Tutor applicants should have the following qualities:- The ability to create the right learning atmosphere to meet individual student needs
- Are computer literate with frequent access to the internet
- Have reliable/private transportation to commute to the student
- The ability to relate to students, parents and teachers
- Expertise in a specific subject area
- Desire to increase the confidence level as well as the academic success of a student
- Patience to deal with all learning styles
- Are punctual to scheduled meeting and at returning messages
- A positive attitude
- Are authoritative, yet compassionate
