| Job Description |
Mad Science of the Bay Area is seeking super stars to teach science to elementary school children in the afternoons. In particular, we are looking for dynamic individuals that possess strong leadership skills. Duties include teaching classes with a sparkling personality, picking up teaching supplies, keeping attendance records up to date, and managing the safety, entertainment, and excitement of all participants. |

| Candidate Requirements |
| Mad Science of the Bay Area operates in various elementary schools and community centers in San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Southern Alameda County. Interviews, training, and staff meetings take place at our administrative office in Newark, otherwise known as MSBA Headquarters. Training is paid and mileage is reimbursed. Since we work with dry ice, cotton candy, and a myriad of other cool chemicals and gadgets every Mad Scientist must know how to have fun in a safe and responsible manner. |
| Special Considerations |
| Performances are off-site so it is necessary that all members of the Mad Science team have a mobile communication device (such as a cell phone) and a reliable car. Since our company works with children of all ages, a background check as well as a TB test are required. Additionally, since our curriculum is science based, we expect everyone to have a basic knowledge of science via completion of high school chemistry and/or physics. Fret not what you forgot! We will provide all training. You provide the "Mad" and we will put in the "Science!" |
