We are looking for a Center Director (Lead Teacher) for our Brunswick East center.This alternative education center holds three sessions daily to assist up to 75 high school students from Glynn County.
The Center Director:
- Provides leadership so that staff and students make meaningful progress toward reaching their full potential as educators and learners.
- Meets the responsibilities of the position in a quality manner with an open mind toward performance improvement recommendations, so that all resources are utilized efficiently.
- Serves as a liaison between the Administrative Office and the center staff and students.
- Is accountable to the Operations Manager for performing all duties as assigned.
Success Factors:
- Center operates in accordance with established standards as outlined in the Procedure Manual.
- Student records are accurate, current and kept confidential.
- An atmosphere of positive student and employee relations exists within the center.
- Relationships with referring districts and agencies, students, parents, the public and Ombudsman staff are positive.
- Communication (including required written reports and verbal communication) with the center staff and Administrative Office is timely and accurate.
- Center performance meets the corporate performance goals.
